The Peabody Historical Fire Museum (circa 1875) is located at 38 Felton Street and is the property of the Peabody Historical Society.

The building originally used by Peabody Engine Company No. 3 was moved to the Historical Society's Brooksby properties in 1990. Located on Felton Street just two miles from Interstate 95, Routes 1, 128 and 114, the Fire Museum sites atop a tree-lined landscape and is part of the Society's Felton-Smith Historic Site.

On the first level, the visitor is greeted by fascinating displays of firefighting artifacts. The winding staircase at the back leads to the brightly-lit second floor function hall suitable for parties of seventy-five.

The windows of the hall reveal breathtaking views of the Brooksby's apple orchards and the surrounding peaceful forests and wide open fields.

The Fire Museum features full kitchen facilities and is air-conditioned for year-round comfort.
